Cloister, 2022
Cloister is a sans serif that pays homage to a plethora of typefaces. It’s mostly inspired by the closed counters of Genzsch and Heyse's Lapidar, and its underlying structure borrows from popular neo-grotesks. The name Cloister refers to the typeface’s closed off anatomy, and it also refers to its origins. It was created during the Corona Virus lockdown.
